At Piranha, we are always happy to get involved with charity events, whether it’s putting our Christmas jumpers on or taking part in a triathlon!
This month, our designer Claire, Business Development Executive Sharon and her son Harry took part in the Garstang Colour Dash.
The race was a complete sell out, with 500 people of all ages taking part.
This event helps to raise money for St John’s Hospice, which is a local charity that “provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions.” Their services cover North Lancashire, the South Lakes and some areas of North Yorkshire, meaning that this fundraising is absolutely essential.
Harry managed to raise a great amount through donations from his friends and family. We have no doubt that this money will go to great use!
Piranha’s Account Director, Don Fryer, said; “We are always pleased to hear when our team are getting involved in charity events like these. It reflects just the type of people that we want to work at Piranha.”
“Claire, Sharon and Harry all did really well in the Colour Dash and it looks like they had lots of fun. But even more importantly, they took part to help raise money for a great local cause.”
Everyone at Piranha would like to say a huge well done to Claire, Sharon and Harry for taking part. We’re already looking forward to hearing about your next race!
